The Singapore Sentosa hotel provided a beautiful backdrop for the Asia Pacific (APAC) commercial team meeting in February. Discussion focused on APAC’s new five-year goal to instill excellence to become the market leader in the 1-day contact lens category by 2023, with increased emphasis on spheres, optical chains and growth channels. An interactive workshop led by Kerry Chung, APAC Senior Finance Director, and Wayne Reuben, Interim APAC President, was followed by inventive-themed videos being created by each team.
Building on the overarching theme, a session was held for APAC regional teams to present their individual plans to reach the five-year goal. Tied for first place was Singapore and Malaysia. The winning teams received additional funding to advance their supporting activities.
In parallel, the sales team attended a lively presentation by the Regional Trainer Network demonstrating the collaboration between trainers and sales managers, and aiming to improve customer engagement. The meeting also saw the rollout of success stories in conjunction with GrandVision, Specsavers and Luxottica’s Ray-Ban brand, showcasing win-win scenarios.
